Enjoy some pictures taken yesterday at the NASA air & space museum in Virginia USA. It was a blast to see the recent Apollo XI documentary movie in their IMAX theater, and after just one minute to stand at arm’s length in front of the Apollo XII command module Yankee Clipper, launched 3 months after the first landing. And they had on display a Moon Rock as big as a kid’s fist. Amazing!

Status report

All is good. 20 backers didn’t answer their survey yet, but 610 backers did and have been charged for shipping, reward upgrades and add-ons; 10 backers have still to update their payment method, because their charge was refused; 10 pre-orders which included only already available items have been mailed. Next shipment will be in mid March.

We are now waiting for the factory to complete manufacturing in two months, so further updates will be a bit sparse. Thanks again for your support and collaboration!

Things are going smoothly: while the factory prepares for manufacturing, the already available items from previous campaigns have been sorted and pre-packaged, and shipping envelopes sourced. 

Your credit cards will be charged on Monday, so if you wish to get anything else from the store without having to pay full shipping fees, place an order now and it will be merged with your existing survey before printing the invoices.

The funding period for the Small Step d4, the Blue Crescent d6 and the Countdown d10/d100 has ended, and unfortunately only the d4 has been unlocked. Anyway, both the d6 and d10/d100 have totaled almost 200 orders each, and more might be requested later: there are still 30 late backers who didn't submit their survey, and some people waits for manufacturing to be complete before placing an order.

For these reasons I have decided to invest in manufacturing all three Stretch Goals and make all the backers who ordered them very happy, but the factory minimum order quantities are much more than 250 pcs and it would be a waste to end up with unsold stock. Therefore it would still be appreciated if you could share the link to the online store in your social media: bit.ly/ApolloEditionStore

The Dice Force

Last week President Trump unveiled the logo for the new US military branch, the Space Force, and many have commented that it is basically a copy of the Starfleet insignia from Star Trek; then I suppose he won't mind if I borrow from his version to print a few stickers:

The Apollo Edition set is one step closer to become a finished product! One small step ;) According to plans, your surveys have been locked and an order placed to the factory. All the funds from the campaign will be forwarded  to manufacturing, then on February 10th your credit cards will be charged for shipping expenses and add-ons.

The factory confirms that the dice should be ready in mid April 2020. The fulfillment process will begin as soon as they arrive and should last about one month, with the rewards landing at your place from May onwards. In case of delays you will be asked to confirm your shipping address. All going well you should receive your shipment between early May and late July, based on your destination and custom clearance time.

What if you need more?

In addition to those in your rewards and add-ons, a number of sets had to be made to reach the minimum quantities per color / paint, and will remain available in the online store for the campaign until sold-out: 30 painted gold, 100 glowing, 150 silver, 150 standard. 

Any add-ons eventually requested by the 40 backers who haven't yet submitted their survey, as well as all sets and singles ordered through the online store from now on, will decrease the above quantities.

There is still some time to unlock the Blue/Light Blue Crescent d6 and the Countdown d10/d100. To help getting there, we added a new color option for the latter: Green on Black.

Please send a message if you ordered the orange or white painted ones and want to switch to this version, or if you would like to add one couple and build your own multicolor countdown. You are welcome to order even if you didn't consider them before, of course!

We are already at 70% of this Stretch Goal: we can make this happen!
