Constellation Dice: Apollo 50th Anniversary Edition
Created by Gio Lasar Design
Pre-order before January 13th for made-to-order sets.
After that, availability will be limited to the final quantities manufactured. The dice should be ready in April, then fulfillment will begin with quality control, invoicing, sorting and packaging. This will take about one month, then in mid May 2020 your shipments will be mailed from Italy.
All parcels will be sent untracked unless agreed beforehand (international tracked shipping can be much more expensive than the dice you are getting); anyway, even with untracked delivery 99% of the shipments for previous campaigns arrived without issues.
Time of transit from Italy is usually two to six weeks pending customs and destination, and fees are usually about €10 for Europe and USA (ranging from €5 for the smallest packages, to €20 for heavy ones).
Your credit cards will be charged on February 10th, 2020.

The factory confirms they should complete manufacturing in the upcoming weeks, and sent us a picture! It's a quick mobile phone snapshot of a few dice from the production line:
Of course you will see better ones as soon as the shipment arrives. This could take a bit longer than in the past given the current situation, but the couriers are still working. Fingers crossed!

This design was to be included in the Apollo collection, but it would have been very difficult to manufacture. You can now have one by printing & folding this model. No glue required!
Stay home and make dice :)

Q-workshop confirms they plan to complete the dice as scheduled, in mid April, although some delays might occur with delivery: right now Poland has imposed a two weeks ban on postal services.
The dice of course will be sent using a courier and there is still enough time for things to change for the better, so we can say everything is still on track.
The situation in Sardinia (Italy) where we are based is apparently under control. Only 75 instances of Coronavirus where reported all over the island, and only goods are now allowed in. People are following the required restrictions to avoid further infections, and only grocery stores and pharmacies are authorized to open until March 25th. Further limitations to social contact will be in place until April 3d, so the situation should be back to normal when the dice arrive.
Please take extra care even if in your country you were not formally asked to limit your exposure to the virus. The risk is real, and nobody could imagine all this happening in Italy. Stay safe 🙂

Enjoy some pictures taken yesterday at the NASA air & space museum in Virginia USA.
It was a blast to see the recent Apollo XI documentary movie in their IMAX theater, and after just one minute to stand at arm’s length in front of the Apollo XII command module Yankee Clipper, launched 3 months after the first landing. And they had on display a Moon Rock as big as a kid’s fist.

All is good. 20 backers didn’t answer their survey yet, but 610 backers did and have been charged for shipping, reward upgrades and add-ons; 10 backers have still to update their payment method, because their charge was refused; 10 pre-orders which included only already available items have been mailed. Next shipment will be in mid March.
We are now waiting for the factory to complete manufacturing in two months, so further updates will be a bit sparse. Thanks again for your support and collaboration!
